I am the stuff that software / web develpers have nightmares about. I belong to that group of people who, in technology geek speak are called the 'laggards'- those lazy few who will absolutely NOT adapt to anything new in the technology world! I still go to the post office to post letters, I read a newspaper made of real paper and if I want to check my spelling, I open the Pocket Oxford Dictionary. I am the only person on the planet who doesn't know what the Orkut or Facebook websites look like.
So it has called for a HUGE effort on my part to become part of the blogging phenomenon, at a time when normal people have probably moved on to something else.
Why am I doing this? Good question, one that I don't know the answer to. Shall discover the answer to that as time goes by. As for now, hello world!

PS: Seriously, this is a first step towards my website, which is currently under development. Once that is up, this would link into that. I plan to post articles on Carnatic music, my own concert lists and create a forum for me to interact with rasikas. Watch this space!
